Bromyard Foodbank & Money Advice Centre

Bromyard Foodbank & Money Advice Centre is a registered charity which supports those in financial need or hardship living in Bromyard and nearby surrounding villages in Herefordshire.  The support and help it can provide includes:

• a foodbank able to distribute emergency food parcels at times of crisis
• money advice, including debt resolution advice
• helping those in financial hardship to find funds for essential needs
• signposting to other organisations for help in addressing particular problems

Bromyard Foodbank

Located in the centre of Bromyard the Foodbank takes third party agency and self - referrals and provides food and essentials. With the help of volunteers, it delivers food parcels within the town and the surrounding villages, extending to places such as Bredenbury and Whitbourne.  

We will support anyone who is eligible with up to five food parcels over a six-month period, this is reviewed based on individual/household need.  Our food parcels contain everything an individual or family needs for a week (including the family pet!).  Deliveries are currently made on Tuesday and Thursday. Food parcel requests can be made Mondays and Wednesdays before 14:30 to tie in with the delivery days by calling or texting 07942 672077. Emergency calls can be made outside these hours. 

Money Advice Centre 

we support and complement our food bank services by also offering money, budgeting and debt advice, in collaboration with Community Money Advice, an  umbrella financially regulated body.  These services are free for those in the community in need and struggling with debt and are provided by a local team of trained volunteers.  If you need our help, please call 07434 669103. 

Household support grant - utility bills and wider essentials: Funding is available to households in need of financial support in these difficult times. We can award grants for energy and water bills and wider essential needs, such as school uniforms, travel costs, mobile, broadband.  For more information and an application form, please contact us on 07942 672077 or email bromyardfoodbank@gmail.com.
