Making Every Contact Count (MECC)

Welcome to Herefordshire's Making Every Contact Count (MECC) e-learning course.

The course will help you to understand when and how to deliver basic health and wellbeing advice and information to people you come into contact with, who might benefit from making a change to a healthier lifestyle.  It'll only take about 30 minutes to complete.

MECC is supported by the NHS Better Health website and the Talk Community Directory, Herefordshire's free online resource which provides wellbeing information and signposting to local and national support organisations.

After you’ve completed your MECC e-learning, why not also take a look at our MECC+ reasonable adjustments module?

This module will help you understand the different steps you can take to make your business or premises more accessible and user friendly for people with disabilities or health conditions.

It is designed as a series of easy to use infographics, which you can either read through altogether or download for free and keep, so they can be referred to, whenever necessary.
