Open every Tuesday - Friday 10am-2pm it offers a community cafe, public access computers, meeting spaces, signposting support and health and wellbeing activities all in one place in a friendly and inclusive way.

Belmont Talk Community Hub

We offer a safe place where you can access wellbeing information and signposting to activities, groups and services in the local area or across the county.

Our friendly volunteers are available to help every Thursday from 10am to 1pm, so pop along and say hello and enjoy a cup of tea at the same time in our fantastic Community Café.

Belmont Community Centre is also home to a wide range of other clubs, organisations and activities, catering for all ages, which everyone is welcome to join.  You’ll find us south of the River Wye, just outside of Hereford city centre, so we’re only a 20 minute walk or short cycle away.  If you need to drive, we also have free parking available to the side of the building (you’ll find us just off Belmont Road at the Tesco roundabout).

Simpson Hall in Burghill

The Burghill Talk Hub, run by the Burghill Parish Council, is available at Simpson Hall, every second Friday of the month from 10am to 12pm.

We will have a dedicated computer you can use, to help you find information, services, groups and activities in the local area and across Herefordshire.  If you can't find what you need, our trained assistant will be able to help signpost you to the relevant website or telephone number.

Come along and enjoy refreshments provided by the Good Neighbour Scheme.  You may also choose a variety of books from the Community Library run by Burghill CAP and purchase green bags if required.


Our Talk Hub is also available via telephone, by calling 07889 285657.  A member of the Burghill Talk Hub Team will assist you in finding the information that you may require.  If you cannot get through please leave a message and we will get back to you. We offer a friendly coffee morning every Thursday from 10am to 12pm.

Our lovely volunteers are also on hand to provide wellbeing information, initial debt advice and signposting to local groups, services and activities.  We are also joined most weeks by a qualified barrister, who can offer free legal advice on a range of issues.

Close House Talk Community Hub

We offer a safe space for young people aged 11 to 24 to access activities, groups and services.  We provide opportunities to get creative and expressive through our Art and Music After School Workshops or to become engaged within the community via our EPIC Volunteering Programme.

Our weekly Talk Community Hub is available every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and runs alongside existing sessions.  We also offer additional support to help those over 24 years old to access wellbeing information and signposting to services, groups and activities across the county, via phone, e-mail or the Close House website.

To visit our weekly hub, please book via phone, e-mail or social media.  We may be able to offer additional days and times too, so get in touch and find out more.

Dinedor Village Hall lies at the heart of our rural community, and as a Talk Community Hub, is a place where our friendly volunteers can assist residents to use the internet to access information and signposting, along with learning about local and countywide groups and activities, to support their wellbeing and independence.
 
We hold monthly community events including a bi-monthly coffee morning and Afternoon Tea & Talk, which all residents are welcome to attend, so they can meet and make friends in our newly refurbished hall and gain further support.  
 
We short mat bowls on Monday evenings, Move & Improve fitness classes with Pippa Ward on Wednesday mornings, and the Dinedor Arts & Crafts Group on Thursday mornings, as well as being a regular venue for meetings and family celebrations.  If as we hope you may be interested in attending, expect a warm welcome at each of our activities.

The Fred Bulmer Centre

Our team here at The Fred Bulmer Centre welcome you to come along to our Talk Community Hub, every Thursday from 9am to 5pm.  We can support you with getting onto and looking at the information, services and activities on the Talk Community Directory (we have a laptop for you to use).  So if you have a question, or would like to know what’s happening in your area, or would simply enjoy a chat, pop along and see us.

We are nestled in the centre of Hereford, near the city bus station, and are home to various charities including NAS (National Autistic Society), E R Arts, Herefordshire Community Foundation, LOOK, Phoenix Bereavement, Wye Valley Mediation and Cruse Bereavement.  The charities within the centre will also be on hand at our hub, to assist you with any questions you may have (subject to their availability).

Our Talk Community Hub is located in the main reception area at Hereford County Hospital and is open:

  • Mondays from 10am until 4pm 
  • Tuesdays from 10am until 1pm
  • Wednesdays from 1pm until 4pm 

The Hub is manned by volunteers and opening times are subject to change, so please call ahead on 01432 355444 to check opening times if you are making a special journey. 

Our friendly Trust volunteers are on hand at the Hub, providing wellbeing information and signposting people to services, groups, and events across the county. 

Our volunteers can email or print a bespoke leaflet for you with the relevant information to you and any handy contact details to organisations, services and community groups.

Our Talk Community Hub is a place where our friendly staff and volunteers can support access to local information on groups and activities you can get involved in. We’re proud to be a Talk Community Hub, which fits well with our supporting everyone to be able to be active and look after their health, in a safe and respected environment.

Based in our state-of-the-art County ground and offices, there is free parking, our Talk Community Hub also runs alongside all our weekly activities and support of grass roots football in clubs across the county.

From 5pm – 6pm there’s a football session where you can join a regular weekly 6-a-side game.

We’re offering a coffee morning with a difference, on the last Friday of the month, from 10am to 2pm. 

Come along to our hub for a cup of tea or coffee, and meet a different charity or group each month. It’s a great way to get to know what our different fantastic charities and community organisations do; and a good opportunity for the organisations too, to spread the word about their services and activities.

Watch out for our posters, to see who’s visiting us next, on our social media and the Talk Community Directory What’s on calendar.  If you’d like to meet the organisation, to ask for more information, come along.  If you’d like to simply have a chat and a cuppa, we’d love to see you.

Staff and volunteers will be on hand too, if you’d like to find out more about activities in your area.  You’ll be able to access health and wellbeing information, and look into other help and support that might be available.

On home match days, the hub will be available in the Addison’s bar, with support from staff and volunteers.

We’re proud to be a Talk Community Hub, to be a part of bringing people together and helping people connect to their local services and groups in their community.

Our hub here at Halo's Hereford Leisure Centre, is somewhere you can come along to, to access information to support your wellbeing and independence, and find out what's on in your local area.  We have free internet access and a laptop here for you to use. There’s free hot drinks, water and biccies too.

You’ll have free access to our fantastic JumpInGym as part of our hub. JumpInGym gives your children the chance to play, learn and explore in a super soft safe environment, with accessible facilities.  The beauty of JumpInGym is you get to supervise in comfort, while your children get to enjoy their own mini workout and have heaps of fun.

Our weekly social hub takes place on Mondays, from 1pm to 2.30pm.  Come and along and join us.

Our welcoming Talk Community Hub drop-in sessions take place every Friday from  1pm to 2.30pm at Hereford Leisure Pool.  Come along, enjoy a free cuppa (or three) and biscuits with us, and get to know people in your community.  You’ll be able to access health and wellbeing information, look into other help and support that might be available for a range of issues, and get to know more about what’s going on locally.  

There’s no need to book, and you can drop by any time throughout the hub session or are welcome to stay for the whole time.

Outside of the drop-in time, our hub has a digital device (tablet) available from our reception here at Hereford Leisure Pool, which you can drop in and use whenever the centre is open, to find health and wellbeing information, services and activities in your area.  Get comfy on our chairs dotted around, and use the tablet at your leisure to access the Talk Community Directory. Staff will be able to lend a hand should anyone need a little support.

We provide a friendly coffee morning

- in the lovely tranquil setting of Lugwardine Chapel meeting room on the third Wednesday of every month, from 10am to 12pm
- and Bartestree Village Hall, on the first Thursday of every month from 10:30am to 12:30pm (perfect treat once a month after the Yoga class in the hall!).

Our cafés offer hot and cold drinks, freshly baked cake selection, parking, level access, toilets and heating, including the famous throws and hot water bottles if anyone is feeling particularly chilly.

Our volunteer run cafés will support community led activities every month, just let us know what interests you and we will try and facilitate.

We invite you to pop along, enjoy a freshly made hot drink and join in with the chatter of neighbours and make new friends.  Our volunteers will also be able to help you access wellbeing information and signposting to services, groups and other activities taking place locally and across the county, using the Talk Community Directory.

If you’d like to get in touch outside of our monthly café, we endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers, if you feel you can spare an hour or two a month.

Marden Links

Marden Links Parish Hub is now open every Wednesday and Friday between 2-4pm. We are in the new unit situated between the Mini Market and Streets Hair Salon. We aim to help residents stay up to date and connected to their local Marden community, through our friendly information and support service, our community website and social media accounts. The Hub has a super fast internet facility, with ipads and a desktop computer available for visitors solo use, or with assistance by one of our trained volunteers. We can assist you to quickly find the information, advice or support you may need, or to be clearly signposted elsewhere. We are part of the wider Herefordshire Talk Community and as such if we can’t help you we are very likely to be able to direct you to a person or service who can. We are very grateful to have received a start up grant from the Herefordshire talk community to open our service. We are also developing a printed information and support booklet for those without access to, or who feel less comfortable with technology. This will mirror the content found on the community website and will run alongside the existing Marden Community Guide.

We look forward to warmly welcoming Marden parish residents you our lovely new hub rooms, we can offer a friendly chat and a cup of tea or coffee.

We also hold a list of volunteers who may be able to help out with more practical help, running errands etc.

St. John's has a strong sense of its place in the community of Hereford City. We’re deeply involved in community activities, with a lovely full programme of regular activities and many special events throughout the year.

Come along and join us for “Coffee, Tea & Toast” at our Talk Community Hub on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm.  We’re most certainly a Place of Welcome. Our volunteers are on hand to support if you’d like to know more about what’s on in your area, or if you’d like to look at the wellbeing information and services on the Talk Community Directory. 

Our hub runs in addition to two of our valued, regular weekly activities.  There’s our Twins and Tots group, which gives special support to families with young twins, and is highly regarded by many parents of young children in Hereford.  Then there’s our luncheon club, which provides a great opportunity for people who might otherwise dine alone to enjoy an excellent lunch with people in a similar situation.

The Living Room's friendly volunteers offer a range of different services, including a Café, Community Larder and Community Space, alongside information, guidance and signposting for those who may benefit from finding local services or groups.

We are open Monday - Friday 9-3pm as a hub where we offer advice, signposting, access to computers and lots of groups to help with loneliness, learning new skills and support.

We have a fantastic active community group at Castle Green, and we’re now also offering a monthly Talk Community Hub.

Our hub drop-in sessions are run by our lovely volunteers, who can support to help you access wellbeing information and details about services, groups and activities in your local area and across Herefordshire.  There’s plenty of tea and coffee for you to enjoy a free cuppa with us, and have a chat.

Our hub takes place in our Georgian pavilion, with the most beautiful outlook over the River Wye.  We’re usually here on the first Thursday of the month, from 12pm to 1.30pm.  Sometimes we need to alter the day that the hub is held - we'll put information up on the noticeboard outside The Pavilion and on our social media.  Outside of the drop in session, you can email us on operations@friendsofcastlegreen.org.uk and we can usually respond within 24 hours.

Come along and meet us – we truly are a breathing space in the heart of Hereford.

The Space Talk Community Hub

We offer a range of services, including support for unemployed people, short courses and we’re also an IT hub.  You can pop in during these times to access free wellbeing information or signposting to various services, groups and activities, either in Hereford or across the county.

Wellington Talk Community Hub

Wellington is an active, accessible and inclusive community and its joint venture with Herefordshire Council’s Talk Community Hubs to create an Information and Signposting Service is yet another initiative to help its residents lead fulfilled lives.

As a Talk Community Hub, we seek to do this in as confidential way as possible. We do not have an actual meeting place, but we maximise the benefits of technology. We use websites, Facebook and email as much as possible but to make sure we reach those residents without access to the internet we use Notice Boards throughout the Parish, Newsletters and the Welcome Magazine.

Our Talk Community Hub runs alongside our varied activities at Whitehouse Community hub throughout the week, for the whole community.  Our volunteers are here to help you access wellbeing information and signposting to services, groups and other activities taking place locally and across the county.

We invite you to pop along and join in with our weekly community activities or to simply have a chat.  We have a Community Café with coffee mornings and a regular afternoon tea on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.  Our weekly walking group meets at the hub on Monday afternoons at 2pm, returning to the hub for refreshments.  The hub is also home to various youth and community groups. 

All of our activities can be found on our Facebook page and are mainly volunteer led, by our fantastic team of friendly volunteers.

As well as accessing lots of information to support your wellbeing, you’ll be able to pop by for a chat, coffee and something to eat!  As part of this we will be running a parents stay and play which has seen the introduction of our baby bank and borrow library as well as an after school family activity session where you and your little ones can stop by to socialise, grab some dinner and make new friends!

The baby bank will consist of clothing, toys, nappies and everything else in between!  Here’s an idea of some of the things they are accepting: clothes, nappies/baby changing items, bathing items, weaning food/pouches/formula (unopened and in date), toys, maternity clothes, nursery items, and everything else in between.
