If you need careers advice, whether you're just starting out, looking for a career change or you're returning to work, there's a number of support organisations available, which can offer you the advice and guidance you need.
Local support
The school or college you're interested in attending, will have dedicated careers guidance staff available, who you can contact directly for further advice and assistance.
National support
FutureLearn Careers provide information and advice on a range of different careers, along with the educational courses available to support your chosen career path. They also offer a career comparison tool and career helper quiz, if you're currently undecided which path to choose.
Live Career offer a range of resources to help you when applying for a job, including templates to write your CV and cover letter.
The National Careers Service is free to use and offers a range of practical information, help and advice on careers, CV's and how to get a job. You can also call their helpline and speak to an adviser on 0800 100 900 (8am to 10pm 7 days a week).
UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) also offer free helpful careers advice, along with help to get a job and information on employment rights.
